This Acceptable Use Policy (“**AUP**”) applies to all use of the 4OS and AIMediaGenerator Services. It forms part of the Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms.
## 1. Core rule
Use the Services lawfully, responsibly, and with respect for the rights, safety, privacy, and dignity of others. You are responsible for your Inputs, instructions, Outputs, sharing decisions, and downstream use of generated media.
## 2. Prohibited content and conduct
You may not use the Services to create, upload, request, distribute, facilitate, or promote:
### 2.1 Illegal activity and physical harm
- content or activity that violates applicable law;
- credible threats, instructions to commit violent wrongdoing, terrorism, or material support for prohibited organizations;
- instructions that meaningfully facilitate the creation or acquisition of weapons, explosives, malware, or other tools intended to cause harm;
- trafficking, exploitation, extortion, blackmail, fraud, or theft; or
- content intended to encourage or provide personalized instructions for self-harm.
### 2.2 Child safety and sexual exploitation
- child sexual abuse material or sexual content involving a person under 18;
- grooming, sexualization, exploitation, or trafficking of a minor;
- attempts to transform an image of a minor into sexual or exploitative content; or
- any request that creates ambiguity about whether a depicted person is an adult.
We may report apparent child exploitation to appropriate authorities and preservation organizations as required by law.
### 2.3 Non-consensual or exploitative sexual content
- non-consensual intimate imagery;
- sexual deepfakes or sexualized depictions of an identifiable person without documented consent;
- voyeuristic content, sextortion, or intimate content distributed outside the scope of consent; or
- sexual content involving coercion, incapacity, or exploitation.
### 2.4 Impersonation, deception, and manipulation
- fraudulently impersonating a person or organization;
- materially deceptive deepfakes intended to mislead people about an event, statement, endorsement, identity, or source;
- phishing, social engineering, forged credentials, fabricated evidence, or fake official documents;
- undisclosed synthetic media where disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to prevent deception; or
- removal or circumvention of provenance, safety labels, or machine-readable AI markings applied by the Services.
Parody, satire, artistic work, and authorized transformations may be allowed when they are lawful and not reasonably likely to deceive or harm.
### 2.5 Privacy, biometric, and surveillance abuse
- publishing private or sensitive personal information without authorization;
- identifying, tracking, or profiling a person through biometric data without a lawful basis and required consent;
- face recognition, emotion recognition, or biometric categorization for covert surveillance;
- stalking, doxxing, harassment, or invasive monitoring; or
- processing media when you lack the rights, permissions, or notices required by law.
### 2.6 Discrimination and high-impact decisions
You may not use Outputs as the sole or determinative basis for decisions about employment, housing, education, credit, insurance, health care, legal services, immigration, law enforcement, or another high-impact domain. You may not use the Services to unlawfully discriminate or infer highly sensitive traits for consequential decision-making.
### 2.7 Intellectual-property and personality rights
- infringing copyright, trademark, patent, trade-secret, publicity, privacy, or contractual rights;
- uploading confidential information or proprietary datasets without authorization;
- falsely claiming sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation; or
- generating content designed to counterfeit protected goods or misappropriate a creator’s identity in violation of law.
### 2.8 Platform integrity and technical abuse
- bypassing usage limits, access controls, safety systems, or content filters;
- probing, scanning, or testing vulnerabilities without written authorization;
- reverse engineering, model extraction, prompt extraction, credential theft, or scraping prohibited by the Terms;
- introducing malware, harmful code, denial-of-service traffic, or automated abuse;
- selling, leasing, or transferring accounts or access credentials;
- using bots or automation in a way that degrades the Services or evades published limits; or
- misrepresenting the origin of traffic, requests, or content.
### 2.9 Spam and abusive commercial activity
- unsolicited bulk communications;
- deceptive advertising, fake reviews, engagement manipulation, or fabricated endorsements;
- illegal gambling, regulated goods, or financial promotions without required authorization; or
- content that violates applicable platform, advertising, consumer-protection, or election rules.
## 3. Synthetic-media transparency
You must clearly disclose AI-generated or AI-manipulated content when required by law, platform rules, or the context needed to avoid material deception. This is especially important for:
- realistic depictions of identifiable people;
- public-interest, political, election, news, health, emergency, or financial content;
- altered recordings presented as authentic evidence; and
- content distributed at scale.
Do not remove machine-readable provenance information or visible disclosures that the Service applies to satisfy legal or safety requirements.

Include the relevant account, project, public link, and an explanation. Do not send unlawful material by email; provide a link or other identifying information where possible.
## 5. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and take proportionate action, including warning a user, limiting a feature, removing or disabling content, suspending or terminating an account, preserving evidence, or reporting conduct where required by law.
We may use automated systems and human review for enforcement. Where required by law, we will provide notice, reasons, or an appeal method. Submit an appeal through admin@4os.io .
